Even though color is ubiquitous, there's room for black and white photography in weddings. Like this image of a couple after their small, family wedding ceremony. They paused to look at one another against a brilliant sunset over Lake Winnebago near Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Color would have gotten in the way of the image, so the decision was to make it black and white. I like black and white photos to have some contrast, and this was at the extreme end of black and white contrast, but the image worked. I usually like some gray, but you have to do what works for the moment.
