After an emotional wedding ceremony on a very hot day in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin at the Kress Pavillion, the bride's parents do a little dance during the recessional. The Kress Pavillion is part of the Door County Library, the Egg Harbor branch. The modern facility is above the library and can be rented for weddings and events. Most weddings take place on the outdoor balcony, like this one, with the dinner and reception in the indoor reception hall. The facility has windows looking out over the village of Egg Harbor, and the bay of Green Bay, beyond. It usually offers grand sunsets (if the weather cooperates). Other areas of the balcony often serve as a location for cocktail hour and visiting with friends and family.
