We made a stop a Portage Park in Sturgeon Bay to do family photos on the Lake Michigan beach. The family brought their dog along for the session. Several years ago, I did engagement photos of the couple and their dog, then their wedding photos. Fast forward a few years, and I was able to capture their growing family. We eventually finished the session at Crossroads at Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay. But to get beach shots, Portage Park is a fantastic location that is rarely crowded. Sometimes, the mosquitoes can be a hazard, but in autumn, when we photographed the session, the bugs were not an issue.
