Often in weddings, there is a flower girl or junior bride who spreads rose petals down the aisle prior to the bride's walk. In recent years, there's been a trend of flower men who do the job with a comedic flourish. Perhaps this is because of a moment in the musical "Hamilton" where a burly character tosses flower petals (or maybe that is in response to a trend of flower men.) At any rate, this may have been the best performance I've witnessed, with the flower man dancing down the aisle to Pour a Little Sugar on Me, in an absolutely hilarious approach. One benefit of the flower man is, it takes the pressure off young children who are often overwhelmed by the whole ordeal, and rarely spread petals in an even manner. This wedding was in Onalaska, Wisconsin in spring.
