The desert sun can cast dramatic shadows, like these of a newly-married couple in Tuscon, Arizona. The couple took a walk down a back road to get to a more scenic area, and we did photos there. but then we noticed the dramatic shadows and captured a few of the two of them walking. It also provided an opportunity to capture images of the bride's awesome shoes--a detail I usually try to get photos of. While I normally shoot Midwest weddings, primarily in Wisconsin (and specifically Door County, Wisconsin), getting to work in new environments is so energizing. It's especially fun in the Southwest, like Arizona, where even the quality of light is different.
